Reviewing the recovery options for addiction recovery is important to having a successful outcome. If you, a friend, or a loved one is challenged with addiction and is needing a recovery solution that will treat both the addiction and the underlying causes of it than Detox of South Florida can help.
Depending on the details surrounding your addiction, you might be searching for inpatient care or might be looking online for “outpatient drug rehab near me” and if so, you’ve made the first choice to overcoming addiction. Each of the addiction recovery programs offered at our facility is aimed to treat various levels of addiction and severities. Our Outpatient Rehab program is typically the last step of recovery that will ensure patients continue to remain abstinent from the use of drugs or alcohol.
Outpatient drug rehab is a recovery option best suited for recovering addicts that want to maintain employment or at-home residence as this treatment program allows patients to reside at home while receiving treatments during the daytime. Outpatient rehab allows patients to have freedom during their treatment as it doesn’t interfere with being able to keep a job or by meeting day-to-day responsibilities. Individuals that are new to treatment or the Outpatient rehabilitation program will usually meet with our clinical staff or a designated therapist for daily sessions and treatment. Depending on the results of patient medical assessments and addiction analysis, patients may only need to visit our facility once or twice per week.
Typically, patients will maintain participation in our Outpatient rehab treatment for 30-90 days as this is the time where recovering addicts are most susceptible to encountering a relapse. Depending on the patient’s progress during recovery, where we take in to account both the patients physical health and mental stability, the amount of time spent in recovery may be adjusted (reduced or prolonged – situational).
“Detox of South Florida allowed me to accomplish what I couldn’t on my own: Sobriety! I was apprehensive about attending an Outpatient Rehab Near Me out of the fear of not being able to keep my job. Thankfully, their awesome staff accommodated my schedule and recovery needs and I’ve been sober since completing the program” – Dave.
Maintain your Independence during Recovery
Unlike an “Inpatient Rehab” treatment program, patients in the outpatient program don’t participate in a monitored residence.
This program requires patients to have and maintain a high level of dedication and commitment to wanting to overcome dependency. Patients’ need to exercise self-control and will need to have the ability to pursue sobriety without the need for intensive care and supervision.
Also, the outpatient program is most effective when patients in the program reside at a residence where drugs or alcohol are “not” present. All patients are held accountable for their actions and schedule during the daytime for treatments at our facility and will be enabled to continue the practices learned at home.
Since patients are able to return home upon the commencement of treatments, patients need to be fully committed to recovery since recovering addicts will have a lot of free time outside of our facility where triggers and access to drugs/alcohol can occur.
When someone is suffering from addiction and the choice to seek treatment is made, the first and most appealing recovery option is an outpatient program since it allows patients to receive the treatments they need by day while allowing them to return home after treatments. Before patients join the outpatient rehab program, detoxification will be provided first so the leftover toxins and drugs can be removed from the body.
Once medical detox has been completed we’ll begin to create an individualized outpatient recovery plan that will focus on the areas of addiction that the patient needs help with. An outpatient program is typically advised for patients that have previously completed an inpatient program or a higher level of care.
However, for those that are medically and mentally stable that are able to achieve recovery with minimal medical intervention, the outpatient program is also suitable.
There are many emotional and mental hurdles that will need to be overcame through the recovery journey and if you or a loved one is suffering from a drug or alcohol induced addiction than an outpatient rehab may be the best option for you so long as you believe you’ll be able to refrain from substance use outside of our facility. While outpatient rehab helps patients to achieve sobriety it does not rid the body of the leftover drugs or toxins. For this, a medical detox will be required and our inpatient program is specifically designed to help you overcome the numerous effects that stem from addiction.
Once patients are physically and mentally stable and no longer require around-the-clock medical supervision and care, a support-based program such as a PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) may be suggested before graduating to the outpatient care program. Since addictions vary in nature and severity from patient to patient, the type and levels of care to administer will be determined based on a physical and mental health evaluation that each patient will undergo.
As a part of Detox South Florida’s comprehensive continuum of care, our outpatient recovery program will help patients to stride towards long-term recovery while permitting them to maintain their daily routines. An Outpatient Rehab program is the least intensive form of treatment and is typically the last level of care that patients endure. Depending on the prior addiction and medical history of the patient that we’re treating, patients may transition to our outpatient program from a higher level of treatment such as a PHP.
For all of our patients, the outpatient program will allow each client to transition back to society with the tools need to remain sober with the security of having medical aid and therapy sessions on a weekly basis.
An Intensive Outpatient addiction recovery program provides patients with a host of benefits including that of being able to maintain employment, spend time with family, and tend to day-to-day responsibilities all while receiving treatments that will enable them to put an end to addiction.
Patients at Detox South Florida who are being treated through the Outpatient recovery program will have the flexibility to maintain their source of income (employment) so they can continue to support their families. Many of the patients that come to our facility for treatment have younger children of their own that rely on them for support, care, and supervision. Some patients may be source of income as the head of their household with family members that rely upon them for a place to live (meaning you need to KEEP your job).
With an Outpatient rehab program, patients can find peace in knowing they’ll be able to tackle addiction in such a way that won’t be disruptive to their daily responsibilities. The freedom to continue your daily life while recovering is an extremely valuable tool that Detox of South Florida patients really enjoy.
Becoming isolated and limiting your interaction time with others isn’t a healthy way to overcoming dependency. In fact, being antisocial can actually be detrimental to your recovery. In our inpatient rehab program, the goal is for patients to become a part of a recovery-focused community where they’ll foster new friendships with others that share the same interest in becoming sober. If your addiction doesn’t require an inpatient treatment program and you have a close network of friends and loved ones that are positive influences than an outpatient rehab treatment may be suitable.
Many times, individuals suffering from addiction will procrastinate when it comes to seeking treatment out of fear of being embarrassed or exposed to shame. At Detox of South Florida, privacy for patients is held to a high standard and information both private and related to the recovery/addiction will never be shared with anyone outside of our treatment staff. Admitting that you have an addiction can be difficult and may be preventing you from going in to recovery. Our staff as a whole is committed to the privacy of each patient and will work discretionary.
Your support group of trained specialists and patients that are experiencing the same struggles as you will help you to build your confidence in a safe, comfortable, and private environment.
Attending an Outpatient Rehab program is less costly than an outpatient program. When deciding whether to choose an “inpatient” or “outpatient” program, most choose “outpatient” simply due to the cost. For most, going the outpatient route is more accommodating for their finances as an outpatient program typically costs around $10,000 compared to that of an “inpatient rehab” which can cost upwards of $40,000.
One of the key elements to achieving long-term sobriety is revolving yourself around others that are equally committed to remaining abstinent from drugs and alcohol. By having a network of friends that are dedicated to lifelong recovery you’ll be to receive support while having the sense of having a second family. With the Detox of South Florida outpatient rehab program, patients will be able to foster new friendships from the beginning – friendships that will last for years. This is an invaluable tool that can be used for emotional support to achieve long-term sobriety.
Let’s face it, you can’t quit work, withdraw from school, and uproot your entire life to recover, most are unable to do this. If your presence is needed elsewhere, whether it’s for work, your school, or your family, an intensive outpatient recovery program will give you the flexibility you need to meet your responsibilities during your recovery journey. While it’s not uncommon for patients to take “some” time off to manage and cope with more intense withdrawals, more than likely, you’ll be able to stride on with your daily responsibilities without ongoing issues.
One thing to keep in mind is that working or attending school during recovery provides patients with a healthy outlet as such responsibilities keep the body and mind busy.
The outpatient program will enable patients to pursue a life of independence and sobriety, a life not dictated by dependency. At Detox of South Florida, patients will benefit from weekly therapy sessions, counseling, and treatment so recovery can occur and so relapsing can be prevented. We want each of our patients to successfully transition from rehab to a life of daily sober living and our full continuum of care will help patients accomplish just that.
Patients at our facility can expect to participate in 12-step meetings, mental health counseling sessions, and individual, group, and family therapy meetings. Clients will be educated on how to cope with triggers as they emerge, how to avoid a relapse, and how to manage symptoms. Our Outpatient Rehab program encompasses provides all of the tools you need to overcome addiction in a holistic approach.

Research studies on addiction treatment have shown that some alcohol and substance addiction treatment and follow-up procedures are more successful than others. At Detox of South Florida, we emphasize on using the best approaches in alcohol or drug detox.
Our goal is to ensure that all our patients regain their physical and mental states of health. Our treatment is therefore tailored to address each patient’s unique conditions. The treatment involves a combination of detoxification procedures such as opiate detox, alcohol detox, and heroin detox, just to mention a few, with other intervention procedures such as group and individual therapy, relapse prevention education, after-care planning, and in-house completion programs aimed at ensuring long-term sobriety and prevention of relapses.
Every patient has his or her unique type and level of addiction which is why the treatment period will normally vary from one individual to another. While some patients go through a 30-day rehab program, others will require a 60-day or 90-day program to recover from alcohol or drug addiction. The time it takes to recover will depend on the assessment report provided by the assigned medical professional who evaluates your case.
As the best rehab in Florida, we believe a relapse should not be viewed as a failure but rather as a sign to help you get back on track by making necessary adjustments to your treatment.
Our rates generally depend on the services provided. The overall cost will be determined by factors such as professional treatment fees, facilities, food, and utilities.
Unlike other addiction treatment centers across the country, at Detox of South Florida, we take your treatment and recovery process very seriously. Your treatment against addiction is a comprehensive process that may be affected by unwarranted interruptions. All visitations must, therefore, be approved well in advance by the treating therapist. We do this to ensure that your safety, focus on recovery, and stability are maintained at all times. The only visitors allowed are significant members of your family and close friends.
We strive to give each of our clients a positive and meaningful experience as we journey with them towards recovery. Read personal reviews from patients whose lives have changed after successfully graduating from our treatment program.
